The most interesting thing I've taken away from this poll is that the Browning and CZ have done amazingly well in the face of competition from allegedly more 'evolved' designs.

I'm simply awestruck to see how well those particular hg's have done. And I own and love a CZ, though I voted for the Glock for the reasons I stated earlier.

The biggest problem with this poll is that I forgot to include the Beretta 92 (and its variants) and Walther P99, which would have no doubt altered the percentages in an unpredictable manner (for example, how many votes would the Beretta have stolen from the Browning or the CZ, amongst others).

The one thing that can't be argued is that the BHP and CZ seem to be timeless.
