www.gunboards.com has a lot of manufacturer- and country-of-origin-specific forums and is quite active. It's a different setup and has no "view new posts" feature, so most people have a few of the sections that they keep track of and check periodically. Myself, I frequent "The Czech Weapons Board", "The Spanish Pistol Forum", and "The Makarov Forum", (which is sponsored by Makarov.com).
