using factory remington 405 grain softpoints. OUCH! but the worst by far it the 6" barreled american derringer in 45/70 with the same loads. actually with the rouind chambered only about 3" of barrel left. It looks very painfull, after the contender they could not pay me enough to to fire it.

500 longabough maximun is apprently the uper limit through.
