The CompStock and SpecOps are very close in recoil reduction. The second mechanism in the SpecOps does shave off a bit more of the recoil but the CompStock makes up for it with more surface area. You do sacrifice length adjustment but if this isn't a factor, the COmpStock is an excellent choice.
