I bought a Taurus PT-99 (same as the 92 except for adjustable sights) in the late 1990's. At about a 3000 round count in 2007 it broke the locking block. I contacted Taurus and they said to send in the receipt and locking block and they would mail me a new one. Three months later the new one had not arrived. I had great difficulty getting anyone to answer the phone at Taurus but when I finally got hold of someone they were very helpful- my locking block had been shipped to the wrong state. Eventually a new one made its way to me and the pistol works great again. Good luck.
