Questions About Extreme Shock Ammo?
From the looks of it, taking all things into consideration that I am aware of in terms of ammunition, It looks like its not all that its cracked up to be by its seller . . . It seems it would create horrific entry wounds and at the same time not really do what it was intended to do: which is put the bad guy down as fast as possible.
Does anyone have any views contradicting or confirming my own because I would like to here them . . . |

There is no magic ammo. Shoot straight and shoot often.

Frankly, their ammo could be the best thing since the invention of expanding bullets and they'd never see a dime of my money. Their advertising/marketing approach thoroughly repels me...
Here's an informal test of their ammo. http://www.theboxotruth.com/docs/bot23.htm

It does look pretty sucky to me, thats why I asked for a second opinion. I don't particularly like their advertising/marketing either.
Now that I got a few second opinions: It really does seem to me that this ammo is about the biggest farce I have ever seen. They shouldn't be allowed to market this crap. I have no experience with the ammo but everything that I know tells me that it will create MASSIVE and yet QUESTIONABLY LETHAL wounds. Wounds that will promote greater pain and suffering while simultaneously failing to penetrate deeply enough to accomplish anything that would even resemble stopping power. It may be the worst ammunition ever devised. If anyone has data contrary my statement above please feel free to share . . . |

Ya'know!?
Actually! I have "never" seen an actual can of worms, but I hear of people opening them all the time. |

Imagine you are in a court of law defending your actions after ventilating a bad guy. The prosecutor posts that gay ass poster from extreme shock ammo to show what kind of round you used. You'd be done.

I thought that stuff looked familiar.
I have 20 rounds of the fang face hollow point in .380. I remember buying it a long while back from Sportsmanguide...I definetly did not pay $1 a round and now I am glad that I only bought the one box. At least in the .380 a solid may be better than a hollowpoint and this acts like a solid so I didn't lose out too much. |
