charles daly semi-auto 12g 3"
Can't search right now for some reason. But I can get it for about 300$. Jump or wait? Opinions on the gun itself would also be nice. Thank you.

I bought 2 at WalMart for $299.95...
The first was the 12 ga. I used it duck hunting last year with no problems.
The second was the 20 ga. I used it this year for dove with no problems. Both guns required about 1 to 1.5 boxes of shells to break in. After that, they would shoot anything. The written warranty with the gun says 1 year, but the people at Charles Daly say lifetime. Both the 12 and 20 use Remington chokes, of which I already had several. The guns come with sling swivel mounts (loose) and an extra o-ring. In one sense I like it better than the 1100. The recoil spring is on the magazine tube, between the gas piston and the receiver, not in the buttstock. It makes it very easy to clean the entire system. They are coming out with a 20 ga youth model. I'm going to buy the youth buttstock so my kids will be able to use my 20. Overall, I'm very satisfied, especially for $300. |
