OK, sounds good me, my friend...
I did a survey on Microsofts Health page a couple weeks ago. It had to do with trying to estimate your lifespan. I found a bit of interest in it, so I took it. Anyway, I found that I might live to be #79 yeras. So, the way I figure it, I've 33 years, thereabouts, to procure firearms. And the way the fearful, timid people, are afraid of me having guns, I might well get them early. So, I'm on a mission from God! I have to buy so many firearms a year, or month, or week. Matter of fact, going to an evil gun show in DesMoines, IA tomorrow. I intend to comply with Gods wishes, and procure my next piece. I fully suggest all to pursue the market, and get as many as financially possible. Tomorrow may find you a millionaire, and can't buy a firearm... Best Regards, Don ------------------ "The day I turn in my own countrymen, will be the day I put a bullet in my own head". --George Harris, Patriot Games-- |

Could they mandate that we purchase at least one gun a month? A law like that might ease some arguements at home..."I'm just complying with the law dear, it's the last Saturday of the month to get to the gunshop, I promise I'll clean out the garage after I've brought the family into compliance with the president's wishes"
Perhaps with the at least one gun a month law they could add a requirement for our employers to pay us an ammunition allowance, or distribute ammo from surplus stocks like in the DCM program. Yeah, that's the ticket, if you worked for a small company that couldn't afford to subsidize ammuntion, you could sign up at the unemployment office for your ammo allowance, just like they want to do for the Family Leave Act. Maybe expand the scope of the Family Leave act so we could all get off for trips to Gunsite or Thunder Ranch or the Irlene Mandrell Shoot or Georges TFL get together. This "one gun per month law" here in Virginia is killing me. My kids are hungry, my dogs are starving, my vehicles are broken, and I am fast running out of room to put the darn things. I just pray they don't pass a "one case of ammo per month law".

Question for the lawyers out there: I got one this month, but I won it in a raffle. Does that count as a purchase, or do I have to get another before next week? If so, should it be a rifle?

Got another AK this month and it looks like a Colt Commander or a Beretta 92 next month. We shall see.

If we have "one gun per month" law here, could I get financial aid so that I would be able to comply? Add some $$ for training, please.

I'm not a lawyer but I think you could use the $5 cost of the ticket as an argument for a purchase and yes you "must" get a rifle. |

Jeff,
I've been trying that one for quite a while and it hasn't worked yet! I don't know about the rest of you, but I got #1 for 2000 today! I fell behind last year and ended up with only one every other month. Hey, it was the best I could do! [This message has been edited by DMSC (edited January 29, 2000).] |

Next month the truck I have on order will be in but I suppose that I can make a sacrifice, for the children, of course! Yeah, that's the ticket. LOL |

Marlin .45-70 lever gun this month. Next month, a .44 Mag wheelgun.
Or maybe a .357. Or something in .223. Or... hell, I dunno... something that goes bang, anyway. ------------------ "If your determination is fixed, I do not counsel you to despair. My "one gun a month" for Jan. was a new Kel-Tec P-32. A neat, light, thin little pistol which may replace my "hot weather" pistol, a Colt Mustang Pocketlite. My "one gun a month" for Feb. will be a Taurus Total Titanium snubbie in .38 caliber for my wife, as a little Valentine's gift.
