Oberkommando while we don't have a walk in business but it's always open to the family. TFL that is. Tell him to go to wwwmcmfamily.com for the address and come on by. Tell Rock who he is and we will give him the grand tour. That goes for any one who is ever in the area.

Big Group Hug…group hug.

I’ve made life long friends on TFL and I hope to make plenty more. Thank you Rich for giving us all the opportunity to unite.

It is such a great group of people. And yet, lots of the talk is about beer! You all should be ashamed! Doesn't anybody drink bourbon anymore?

Go Kentucky!

There is some thing special about this place. More of a feeling than something you can put into words. Kind of like the feeling you get sittin' round the fire jawin' with old friends.

Sorry, folks. I gave up drinking 20 years ago. But, I'd be happy to suck down a Dr. Pepper with ya!
Then again, if Otter is buyin'..........

The amount and quality of information passed on by the members of this site is "Freedom in action". Yet as others [myself included] have pointed out there a down to earth feel about this place. I come here as much to relax as i do get informed. WELL DONE TFLer's.

Grayfox, no problem. I don't drink very often; that's how I justify buying the good stuff when I do. 99.99321% of the time (exactly) I'm a Mountain Dew kinda guy. Probably more toxic than booze but I love the stuff.

Thanks for the hug LadyDeeJay. Gave me a warm fuzzy feeling. If only the liberals could see us now!

Gale--

GREAT to see you on, and hope that you are well, sir. Please continue to convelesce!

When quoting something I had read on TFL, I used to preface it with: "A person I was reading on a BBS the other day wrote that..."

I now simply say: "A friend of mine said..."

RE: Guinnes Pub Draught--
It's got a charge of nitrogen, and no CO2 in it. That's why it's so creamy, and that's also why you don't get so... er... bloated with the excess gas. It's the same with all "session ales," which are lower in alcohol, and nitrogen charged. You can drink them without such ill effects. I'm all for this. Belhaven St. Andrews is also on N charge, and is sometimes found at specialty bars like the Flying Saucer or The Gingerman. Beer engines that have the black rubber tip on the spiggot tend to be N charged.

Matt.

It really feels great to be home...

Hey Dennis,
I'm still looking for that Shiner Bock around here. Guess I'll just have sit down and have another Rocky Mtn. Kool-aid (burp... excuse me!)
