Rossi M31 ??
I purchased a used Rossi 5 shot 38 SP. with a 4" barrel and I believe it is a model M31. That's the only marking that looks like it could be a model number. I picked this up from a private sale real cheap but it is really tight but has had the blueing is worn off. Serial number is D468xxx. Any info would be appreciated.

That is a model 31 as you stated.
Weight 20 ounces. Discontinued being made in 1985. The worth is out of date in the catalog I have by a couple of years. Should be more than the $105 price tag quoted for excellent condition. +P was not recommended for these. There are Buffalo Bore standard pressure 158grain LSWCHP loads that would work well as well as the regular standard pressure 110 gr. JHPs that would be okay to use. Standard regular pressure loads of any kind can be used. Gun parts are available at www.e-gunparts.com or www.brownells.com as well. |

Thanks for the info Quiks draw. It is only in fair condition and has a real hard double action trigger pull but I only give $30. Thanks again.
