Do any of you think that John M. Browning's birthday should be a national Holiday? He's done a lot for freedom world wide!

Now that would be a holiday worth skipping lecture for!
Of course, it means that I'd need to get my mitts on a Browning Hi-Power to celebrate it properly.

Yes, since his weapons helped win two world wars, and two wars in Asia. Think of how many lives he saved with his inventions, not to mention we might not have won the wars we fought had it not been for him. Really it should be a four day weekend in his honor. The John Moses Browning Holiday.

Don't know about a holiday... but I'd go for sainthood.

Why not? John Moses Browning was THE greatest firearm inventor known to mankind. His designs, and derivatives thereof, have helped us win two world wars and keep our freedoms.

There is no better man that deserves to have a holiday named after him, that is for damn sure.

In Liberty,

While a national holiday may not go over, at least there should be a USPS stamp in his honor, heck, Elvis got one and he didn't help us win any wars. Can you imagine what WWI & WWII would've been like without the likes of JMB and JCG? Heck, let's give both men a postage stamp! I bet we could pull enough clout together to get it done, with a couple million gunowners and a gazillion Mormons out there, it would be a fitting tribute to the greatest mind in firearms EVER. Just my thoughts.
