What other handgun forums are there?
I'm looking for some more boards to read.

What are you interested in? There is a forum out there for just about every type of firearm. Some are specific to that brand, while others offer a variety.
Ala Dan listed one of the best overall boards. They offer something for everyone. If you want to know about something specific, please post and we will try to help. |

Like the others have said, if you can get more specific on what exactly you want to read, we can help a little better, but here are some of my favorites:
thefiringline.com thehighroad.org glocktalk.com markii.org 1911forums.com shotgunworld.com rimfirecentral.com There are others, and I will try and post more later. This is one of my favorites by the way. Word to the wise, be very careful about what you read and believe on the gun boards. There are some boards that are full of great information, as long as you are able to weed through the B.S. Hoss |

www.gunboards.com has a lot of manufacturer- and country-of-origin-specific forums and is quite active. It's a different setup and has no "view new posts" feature, so most people have a few of the sections that they keep track of and check periodically. Myself, I frequent "The Czech Weapons Board", "The Spanish Pistol Forum", and "The Makarov Forum", (which is sponsored by Makarov.com).

Sigs
Try the www.sigforum.com for Sigs. Backgrounds are green instead of blue,
but alot of similarity to here, and some crossover members. But it seems to run just a little bit slower than here. |

well, it's far broader than just pistols, but
http://www.shootguns.info/ is a good starting place for any firearms related surf session.

I follow this one too:
http://forums.gunbroker.com/ They are about as general as TFL and THR, but I feel they aren't as careful about manners as these two are. But then, I haven't found any forums that are. You find out these two are pretty special when you've been "out there" awhile. |
