Keep the BHP pistol as a family heir loom and go shoot it, because then you'll catch a disease called guncollectoritus or you could sell it to me for $10

Not only does the Browning HP predate importation by Browning Arms of America, but with a s/n of 8031 predates WWII (which was pretty obvious by the proof marks, anyway), and is completely legal and exempt from the NFA, but ONLY with an original flat board shoulder stock of Belgian manufacture. It is NOT legal to use with a Canadian holster type stock.

Im baaack.

Well my sister and I finally decided to split it up. And turns out she only wanted the Mauser and left the rest to me, which was ok. Since I wanted the Browning and the Walther P1 anyway. Now, I guess I should find out more bout paperwork and values.
Here are some pics of the Remy Rolling Block I took for another forum.

and this was a bunch of ammo I found, there is alot not pictured...

Use them well in memoriam.

Nice stash of ammo, factory and reload looks like. Did your father reload? If not, I'd hesitate about using somebody else's reloads. And a Garand clip? Start looking around for a hidden rifle...
Did you get the Browning HP cleared up, not NFA?

Here is some research....

I give you: The Browning attached to the stock in all its glory. The stock on one side says Made in Canada and on the other it says "S.A. LTD 1945" And some text that was in blocked lettering that I can no longer read. Did my gun kill Nazis??

I dont know the story with the ammo belt, its always just been there.

Maybe it used to read Tactical?
