I got a bueaty today.

I picked up at a local sporting goods store a bueatyful rifle, or rather a good variety of an ugly rifle. It is a russian 91/30 nagant rifle with a new barrel(brand new), and otherwise all matching parts. for less than 50 bucks no less. I just cleaned the bore and found no rust, no powder fouling, only cosmoline and sharp rifling. The barrel is rollmarked with the hammer and sycle(sp?) and the date 1944. must have been sent in for a referb and captured shortly after. dang nice gun. ok i'll shut up now(don't you just love surplus guns!)
