Privi
VL: No, it will not harm the bore. If there is any problem, it may depend on how Privi lubricates the bullet. Some inexpensive .22 ammo uses a soft lube on the bullets; it comes off the bullet and on to your fingers as you handle the bullets. It can build up in the receiver and cause function problems. The solution is to clean the gun more.
Years ago, I used very inexpensive ammo from Yugoslavia - the Hansen brand. It worked fine and never harmed my guns. When Russia began to export ammo, they marketed some very inexpensive steel-cased .22s (Junior brand). It was dirty, waxy and....very accurate. One could buy a case for under $100USD. It did not harm my guns. Pete |

Hansen WAS Privi Partizan, at least, Hansen imported Privi Partizan ammo under their name. Their centerfire stuff is good. Their 22lr should be good, too.

If the 22lr is anything like their centerfire ammo it should be fine. Matter of fact I'd like to try some but I'm not aware of any company in the US that sells it.

hello & thank you all for interest
it seems you answered the question pretty much btw (firstly i could not believe in all this myself, but it is true - that is the law in our country) price of 1 bullet (prvi partizan) in my country is about 0.50 $ and (as i said in one other post) one man must have licence to buy ammo (maximum is 50 per year) and even the licence cost about 10$ and thus in my country there is almost no foreign ammunition .22 lr - because we have no rights to buy more than 50 per year |

Wow! Makes me thankful to live in America. Ammo is cheap and no license required. I hope we can keep it that way.

Yeah... But if Obama has his way ammo will be expensive and you'll need a permit IF you get to keep your guns!

There were some reports of a .22 ammo damaging some folks rifles at Camp Perry a few years ago. My friend was a Blue Shirt, Red Shirt, or something he was invited to do by the NRA said he saw 2 instances of Lapua (?), Eley (?), dang, I can't remember- I'll have to ask him again. But anyway, he showed me photos of the elderly lady (top female smallbore shooter 1955) and the rifle. What suprised me was the ammo in question was what I always thought to be top quality and high dollar.
