Scope for Henry 45-70

I would like a scope in the 3x20 or close. Short, I don't want to put my eye out. I hope to work under $500.00. Any ideas out there in Neverland.

I ran a 2-7 leupold on my 44mag henry when i had it. Used the egw scope base. Rifle would not shoot worth a darn, but it was a good optic choice. Id look at the freedom line now
