How Many Rounds Will My Beretta 9000 Last?

Any guesses?

I suppose you could say I am doing a bit of a torture test. We're going on several months now of not cleaning it. I have some new 17 round mags for it that I'll be getting for christmas, and I plan to burn through quite a lot of 9mm over my christmas break (in college- hence I shoot 9mm, heh).

Anywho...how many rounds would you guess a Beretta 9000 could handle without any problems? Anyone have a maximum round count for this weapon? Hard to say for mine, I bought it used, for extremely cheap. They were practically giving it away. Great gun too, dirt cheap and never jams unless you feed it that wolf dark steel cased crap.

What say you?

Do you mean from ammunition related malfunction or from parts breakage? It you mean parts breaking down i'll say 30,000 rounds.

The persuit of knowledge, my friends!

Anyway, fine...for safety's sake, I'll give it a brief wipe down and such.

How many rounds do you think the gun can survive? (With very BASIC maintenence)
