What calibre for a Chihuahuah????

30 12:15 PM US/Eastern

FREMONT, California - A pack of angry Chihuahuas attacked a police officer who was escorting a teenager home following a traffic stop, authorities said. The officer suffered minor injuries including bites to his ankle on Thursday when the five Chihuahuas escaped the 17-year-old boy's home and rushed the officer in the doorway, said Fremont detective Bill Veteran.

The teenager had been detained after the traffic incident, Veteran said.

The officer was treated at a local hospital and returned to work less than two hours later, Veteran said.

It was the third time this month a Fremont officer was bitten by a dog while on duty. Neither of the other officers were seriously injured.

And it was the second bizarre incident in as many hours for the Fremont Police Department.

Two hours earlier, a homeowner in Niles reported that an intruder broke into her home and added pornography to her computer.

The woman said she woke up and was startled to see a stranger typing away on her computer. The intruder fled, but left behind an altered screen saver that featured images of "erotic Indian art," Veteran said.

Nothing was reported stolen, and neither the woman nor her nine-year- old daughter was hurt, he said.

For most chihuahuas, a size 9 steel toed shoe should be more than enough. If that doesn't work, you could always use the ever popular .50 BMG. Don't expect to find much more than a pile of fur though and you might want to watch our for possible "over penetration"!

My 85 lb. Akita would do a good number on the chihuahuas as well. Her father weighs in at over 110 lbs. and craps bigger than a chihuahua. He loves "fast food"!

And now, the rest of the story:

People always ask, "LawDog, how do you make up your stories?"

Folks, I just report what I see. How can I make up packs of attack chihuahuas, not to mention critters who break into homes and leave pornographic screen savers on the computers?

The dogs of a house often reflect the owners mood. There was a couple that used to have a domestic uproar monthly. Bills/money I would guess. We hated going there as they had two of the meanest anklebiters that would leap and bite you in places that uh, well, they were mean. For their size, they are extremely aggressive dogs. The only dog worse at biting is a dachshund. They are born biters.

Hey, don't knock a weenie dog bite until one of the little jackasses has his teeth around your ankle... talk about HURT! By the time I turned around to kick the little bugger he was backed up in a far off corner barking at me... coward.

Chupacabras and Chiuhauhaus both have long teeth that they sink into their victims. Is the difference only in the accent so that we're thinking of two different critters instead of one?
