Seecamp LWS380 Range Report
Well, I took my new .380 to the range today and I was mighty impressed. I was shooting 95gr FMJ ammo. I only put 50 rounds through it for her initital test but did not have a single issue other than a boo-boo on my trigger finger.
I am not a patient person when it comes to firing. I am not the type that takes slow precise aim with each shot. I tend too get my bead and rapidly fire off all 6 rounds. So these test are done at a pretty rapid fire rate. I did the test at pretty close range since I figured that is what this gun is for in the first place. At 20ft it was great and it even did good at 40ft (which is further than I would ever be shooting at someone with this gun) but it was a bit harder to control at that range. the pattern was all over the place but they all hit. I was pretty impressed with this lil'gun. I am not the greatest shot but it performed pretty well. I will let the targets speak for themselves. Notice the odd straight vertical line pattern on the close range target. I am not sure how that happened but I am betting it was due mostly to muzzle flip. |

Obviously a seecamp is an in-close weapon, which just makes sense.

I was really surprised how accurate my LWS32 was. These pistols are definately quality pieces. How bad is the recoil with the .380?

It is not exactely gentle...but then again it was not designed to be a creampuff. It was design for ultra concealability. Check out this post for a better idea. http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=246776 |

Did you remember to put the bandaid on first, before shooting?
