Guns that always go bang...

What is your most dependable gun(Non-revolver that is. Wheel Guns don't count, they always go bang)? Mine is my Makarov. I've fired lots of rounds with it, and it has never failed to function perfectly.

Mine would have to be my Ruger KP95DC. It's big and ugly, but it always goes bang!!!

Close second would be my wife's Glock 26.

I have had some failure to ignites with my Maks. Probably the cheap Burnal ammo, but they did fail to go bang!!!

I had a wheel gun not go bang.
My S&W 686 using factory ammo, the primer of one of the spent rounds popped out and jammed the cylinder.

Sig Sauer
Glock
HK
100% bang

I have three autos that have not failed, except for a trigger actuator problem once (stuck my thumb in the path of the slide when firing - induced a malf and perforated thumb). They are:

Ruger KP95D
Ruger KP944D
Glock 23

Only autos owned. They function perfectly. Wish I could say the same for the trigger actuator.

I've even had a Glock fail, a Glock 32 which didn't like Sellier & Bellot ammo.

The only brand of pistol that has never failed on me is the SIG Sauer. I've owned three P225s, three P239s, one P226, and a SigPro SP2340, and all of them always went bang when the trigger was pulled.

Second would be Beretta...out of four 92FS models and one 96FS, the only failure I ever had was self-induced (slowed down the rearward motion of the slide with my thumb unintentionally.)

never had a problem with my p99...it has gone "bang" every time i've asked it to, no matter what i've fed it.

All guns fail. If the space shuttle . . . .

Hate to break it to you, but revolvers fail as well, just in different ways.

Carry a bug, study your mal drills. Most of all, don't get in fights (and think of the children too).

CZ-75B Turkish Military with probably 1k rounds through it and no problems at all.

My CZ-70 hasn't had problem one either, but I've only got about 400 rounds through it so far.

Neither of my Glocks have failed yet (a 17 and a 27).

I have a .22 revolver that hasn't failed, but I've only had it long enough to put about 40 rounds through it.

One word, BERETTA . I have 2 now. Many thousands of rounds through each. Only failure I've ever had was a blown out case that had been reloaded too many times. I racked the slide and kept going.

Both my Makarov in .380 and Ruger MkII 22/45 have never failed to go bang, although I have had a stovepipe in both due to low-powered ammo.

Colt M1911-A1, never a problem their either.

Wud U believe.......

My Kel-Tec P32? Good grief, you say, one of those?? Yup, over 800 rounds and perfect function.

One that you'd expect perfection from is an H&K .40 cal USP compact. My son's is.

Sig P225. About as graceful as a cinder block, with unsightly slip-on grip and much holster wear along the slide..it's the most dependable gun I have, period. Cycles everything I load into it, even poor handloads and the ancient surplus crap I bought to try to make the gun jam.

Two semi's I've owned which were 100% reliable:

Glock 22
Ruger P90

Colt Enhanced is a very close second--but, had some FTF's with some nasty commercial stuff.

Ruger KP90. One FTF due to very dirty ammo. After 95 rounds of the UMC stuff, feed area was so dirty it looked liked the pistol had been drug through a barrel of molasses.
I haven't had this problem after 200+ rounds of Sellier & Bellot in one range session.

both have been flawless

I was going to include my SA .45, but it has had a couple of jamming problems, but those were magazine specific. Still, it WAS a jam
