I like the g19 best, loaded w/speer 124gr.+p gold dots. For home defense I'll alternate sometimes and load my hicaps w/ rem. 115gr.+p+ because of overpenetration concerns.I'd like to here what combo everyone prefers. Thanks in advance...long shot!

No contest.
HK P7M13 (I actually prefer the M8 a little more, as it fits my hand a bit better, but I have the M13, so what the hell). I load my 9mms with either Remington Golden Sabre or Federal Hydrashok 124 +P. |

A Smith & Wesson 3913TSW. The trigger action is properly tuned at the factory and it fires as smooth as glass with very little recoil even when loaded with Cor-Bon 115gr! I have other 9mm (Browning, Kahr, etc.) but the 3913TSW is my favorite 9mm.

Browning Hi-power loaded with Winchester 115gr Silvertips. Why sivertips? Simple, this gun likes these best.

Self defense isn't my main reason for owning firearms. The main reason is I like to shoot and I enjoy freedom.
Beretta 92FS. I only buy 124grain FMJ, so that is what I would use if someone wanted me dead. I don't waste money on HP, thus allowing me to practice more than if I bought expensive hollow point. As far as overpenetration goes, do not shoot if there is someone behind the target. Police miss with over half of their shots, so I think it is better spend money on practice, not expensive ammo. Even If defense is your main reason for owning firearms. Maybe I can talk myself into getting a .38 revolver as an apartment gun since I wouldn't have to "waste" money making sure it feeds HP. A revolver would be fun to shoot too. |

Hello. My favorite 9mm is a Browning HP MKIII that's been lightly customized. I load it with Triton 124 gr +P. That round's proven exceptionally accurate and utterly reliable. Best.

That pic just about says it all. Now you can see why I chose it as my new duty round over the Triton. All that performance w/o the flash. Be Safe Mike |

With the shorter barrel I want the lighter bullet to achieve that higher velocity. I think HK made that gun just for me... CMOS ------------------ GOA, TSRA, LEAA, NRA, SAF and I vote! |
