comments on taurus 911 pistol
I am trying to get opinions on taurus model 911 chambered in 9mm.
I have heard several good things about this maunfacturer. and I am trying to find a reasonably priced for my daily carry, also if anyone has any other recommendations on daily carry. Any info would be appreciated! |

I've also heard a lot of negatives about Taurus... Why not a Glock 19 or a Smith & Wesson M&P ($50 rebate and two extra mags until Dec 31st)?

You will get a war going with a question about Taurus. I, for one, have had nothing but good luck with Taurus. I have owned 3, a PT-99, PT-92c and the latest is a 38 ultra lite. I have had zero problems with the three. I have had the two 9mm for many years, and the 38 for a few months. I know there are a lot of people who have had trouble with their Taurus's, but you will find many more who have had very good service from theirs. Just type in Taurus in search and you will find many threads about this topic.Good luck

I am in no way a Taurus fan, but I picked up a PT940 in trade a few weeks back. It is accurate, reliable, and I like the ergonomics. I am actually gonna keep this pistol!
